Meet Our Team

Project Nota is comprised of activist volunteers with diverse skills and perspectives. The team is international, which open doors to publications, presentations, and curriculum collaborations in numerous languages including English, Spanish, French, and Mandarin Chinese. Partnerships between high school volunteers and Latin teachers bridge gaps between scholarship and pedagogical implementation, and provide opportunities for widespread impact.

Departments

  • Digitization

    To digitize Latin texts written by women, for women, and about women from all periods.

  • Outreach

    To increase the accessibility of Latin texts through media and to formulate lesson plans and promote the incorporation of these texts into school curriculums.

  • Translation

    To translate these Latin texts into English, French, and Spanish to increase access, regardless of their knowledge of Latin.
